FAQ

Q. Why the name "Target Six"?

A. The name Target Six signifies our main goal. To strive towards achieving a 6% Return on Risk every month. Many months we exceed this target, some months we can fall short.

Q. How will I receive my trade alerts?

A. All alerts will be sent via email. Once you sign up for one of our services, you will be added to an email distribution list. All alerts will be sent to this distribution list. If you want to be notified by a text message to your phone, please include the email/text address your phone provider has given you.

Q. How many alerts should I expect every month?

A. There will typically be 3-4 trades per month (not counting the Target Trade). Depending on market conditions, we might send out more or less.

Q. I am not a day trader, will I still be able to trade on these alerts?

A. Many alerts will be sent after the market is closed for the day so that they can be entered the very next day. It may take several days to fill the trade once entered. On occasion alerts will be sent out during the day. We need to react to current market conditions to be successful.

Q. How much capital is required to get started?

A. The T6 model account that we use to place the Target Six trades is funded with $10,000. When following the trade alerts, you can adjust the number of contracts up or down based on your account parameters. For a $5000 account, we recommend 1/2 the contracts for smart money management.

Q. Commissions seem to be eating into a lot of my profits. What is the average commission rate charged by online brokerage firms?

A. Commission rates vary a lot from service to service. If you shop around, you should be able to buy and sell option contracts for $2 per contract or less.
